Great fun was had by all in the Smith Studio as seven teams competed for some glittering prizes at the Tower’s Quiz Night. Quizmaster extraordinaire, John McSpadyen, had come up with a masterly set of questions – there was something for everyone and plenty of time to patronise the bar while mulling over the fiendish “Recognize the Face” and “Dingbats” rounds.
Many thanks to John McSpadyen for putting together such a brilliant evening and to his lovely assistant, Emily Carmichael, for speedy marking and adjudication.
The winners by a short margin were the team "Having a Laugh...ter Life", comprising James Taverner, Vyvian Shaw, David Lindley-Pilly and Richard Pedersen, three of whom were in our recent production of After Life, hence the team name. Close runners-up were "The Real Inspector Chimes".
