A playreading of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde Directed by Harry Apps Sunday 22 June, 2025 At the Tower Theatre, Stoke Newington

A group of Tower actors presented a spirited and cheery rehearsed reading of Oscar-Wilde’s much-loved classic. The cast delivered Wilde’s sharp dialogue with impeccable timing and clear affection for the material. Though minimally staged, the performance captured the play’s humour and spirit beautifully, making for an engaging and thoroughly enjoyable evening.
