The Tower at the Bridewell

To mark the Company's 80th anniversary in 2012, the Tower mounted a photo exhibition in the bar of the Bridewell Theatre celebrating the range and quality of our productions there.

Since 1932, the Tower Theatre Company has performed at over 60 different venues, from mining villages in South Wales to the west coast of the United States, via Israel, Edinburgh, Torquay, Gibraltar, Cornwall, Monte Carlo and a host of other places besides.

But the mainstay of our work has been presented at three London theatres - first the Tavistock Little Theatre in Bloomsbury (where we presented over 200 shows), then our 50 year residency at the Tower Theatre in Canonbury (just under 1000 shows played there), and more recently 80 productions at the Bridewell Theatre.

The exhibition was a journey through some of these - from The Fantasticks (our first show there in 2005) to Her Naked Skin (the final show of 2011).
