As Richards
Brighton Rock will be As Richards' sixth production at the Tower. She’s previously appeared in Under Milk Wood, Seagulls, A Dream Play, Crime and Punishment and Moby Dick. She has been acting for over a decade, primarily as part of the Park Theatre Company and has appeared as part of the Chorus in the Park Theatre’s WhoDunnit Unrehearsed 3. Also with the Park Theatre she has appeared as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (abridged) and as John Proctor in The Crucible (abridged). She has also acted in several of the collaborations the Park Theatre with Martin Murphy (Bruised Sky Productions) including the award-winning Jury. She often does Front of House and stewarding for the Tower, so please feel free to say hello when you next see her there!
  Joe Davidson
Brighton Rock is Joe Davidson's second production with the Tower Theatre (and a stark departure from The Secret Garden last autumn). An enthusiastic actor from a young age, he first found his passion for performing through school musicals and the Arcola Youth Theatre, later becoming a member of the Royal Court Theatre’s Youth Board. During his degree at the University of Bristol, he spent as much time on the stage as he did in his studies, alongside performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and directing his own projects (The Long Rain, Bristol Spotlights). His credits include Duke Orsino/Maria in Twelfth Night (Troubadour Stageworks), Fred in Present Laughter (Bristol Dramsoc), and Macbeth in Macbeth (Troubadour Stageworks).
Evie Depledge
Brighton Rock will be Evie Depledge's first show at the Tower, and her first time taking to the London stage since moving here in August. Evie fell in love with acting as a child, after her debut performance as Maid Marian in her school production of Robin Hood. Since then she hasn’t been able to stop, and has now been a part of countless productions, classes and courses all over the world!
  James Stephen Finn
James Stephen Finn has been a member of the Tower Theatre for just over a year with Brighton Rock being his second performance at the theatre having acted in After Life in early 2025. James is an actor and musician, trained at Salon Collective and specialising in Meisner Technique and Practical Aesthetics, who has previously performed in theatrical plays, radio plays and art performances. As a musician he composes, records and performs live with Band Of Holy Joy. The band also produce the weekly live radio show Bad Punk on Resonance FM.
David Wainwright
This is David Wainwright's fourth show with the Tower, after playing the narrator in Under Milk Wood, the father in Cock, and the judge in The Letter. He played Trader in Market Boy, the final production of his post-grad drama school course which he completed last year. He appeared as Hastings in Richard III and, most recently, as Giles Corey in The Crucible, both with SEDOS at the Bridewell Theatre. David has lived in Stoke Newington for almost 40 years, and has been involved with the Tower since it moved here. He is also very involved with the Mildmay Club in Newington Green, where, among other things, he runs a Board Games Night.
  Bob Hough
Bob Hough graduated from Exeter University´s English and Drama course some time ago. His fortune has declined since his first role with the Tower Theatre as God in Peter Barker´s production of Kleinzeit. Subsequently he has gone downhill: tortured half to death in Death and the Maiden; abandoned in Endgame; kicked and crushed to death respectively in Entertaining Mr Sloane and The Crucible; a heart attack in Baba Shakespeare; in The Doctor's Dilemma he was dragged from death's door only by a miracle serum. He has survived in other plays even escaping the noose-happy hangman in his last appearance at the Tower in Hangmen. As a great pal of Pinkie in this play Spicer (Bob) hopes for better things. Elsewhere, he was a member of Personas Libro (Project Fahrenheit 451); details on request.
Richard Ings
Richard Ings is making his Tower debut in this production, playing two parts - Phil and Fr Bunloaf. He is returning to acting after many years spent offstage working in the arts and studying and teaching American visual culture. His first acting experience was at college, where he played a number of small but (he feels) crucial roles in Women Beware Women, and then went on with a leap to play Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest at Theatre Gwynedd and the doomed patient Foster in The National Health. He bowed out with a one-act four-hander, The Love Course, staged at Harlow Playhouse and a venue in Bishop’s Stortford whose name he can no longer recall. He is thrilled to be back on stage again.
  Suki Rees
Suki Rees is delighted to join the cast of Brighton Rock for her Tower debut, expanding her list of accents attempted. She has recently appeared in shows at the Network Theatre and South London Theatre, including as Jackie-O in House of Yes and Phoebe Cooke in The Ballad of Maria Martenent.
Paul Graham
This is Paul Graham's first full production at the Tower. He recently took part, however, in the rehearsed readings of The Importance of Being Earnest and The Letter. He is thrilled to be involved in this gritty play and is looking forward to the challenge of his four roles! Paul trained at East 15 Acting School, graduating in 2024.
  Cerys Puccetti
This is Cerys Puccetti's debut production at the Tower Theatre. Hailing from rural Alberta, Canada and the daughter of two professional ballet dancers, Cerys has the love of the stage in her blood. Recently graduated from Identity School of Acting, she looks forward to treading the boards once again.
Niamh Savchenko
Brighton Rock is Niamh Savchenko's first show with the Tower Theatre. Niamh is an actor, originally from Telford, who started out performing in shows with her local amateur theatre. Since moving to London she has worked with the National Youth Theatre, Rebound Productions, and has appeared in multiple short films. After spending the last year and a half focussing on screen work, she is excited to get back on the stage again and have some fun!
  Phillip Ley
Phillip Ley first appeared on the Tower stage as a dead body in a sack over half a century ago and in one way or another he has been associated with the company ever since. He gravitated towards the technical side starting with Sound Design and Stage Management and more recently Set Design most notably Blood Wedding, The Slab Boys, The Voysey Inheritance, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Telstar, The Producers, Sailor Beware!, Eigengrau, Chancers, The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband, The Worst Witch and Rapunzel. His directing credits for the Tower include Improbable Fiction, Talk Radio, Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde, Sex Drugs Rock'n'Roll, Telstar and Sailor Beware! He has also devised the Tower Theatre Blues Brothers show and The Fabulous Eddie and Otis Soul Revue. His musicals Paradise (a Rock'n'Roll Fable) and Return of the Marionettes have both played in London and toured to the Minack Theatre, Cornwall. He has performed as bassist in many of the recent Tower musical forays including Little Shop of Horrors, Paradise (a Rock'n'Roll Fable), Smokey Joe's Café, Lark Rise, The Boy Friend, The Producers and Return of the Marionettes.
