Ed Malcomson returns to the Tower stage after a six-year break. He trained at Oxford School of Drama, but has spent most of his working life as a teacher of drama and
English literature. His first appearance with Tower was as Jasperino in The Changeling. Since then his roles have included Cain in The Mysteries,
Henry in The Real Thing, Charles Stanton in Dangerous Corner, Brutus in Julius Caesar, Hal in Dinner and Guy Fawkes, Southwell and the
Dodo in 5/11.
A retired teacher, grandmother, allotment site-secretary, choral singer and professional old lady, Alison Liney
has been involved in amateur drama for over 50 years, spending the last 18 chiefly with the Tower, for which she runs
Front of House and occasionally Stage Manages. Recent roles include Marie (Calendar Girls), Daisy (Driving Miss Daisy),
Hold Me, Touch Me (The Producers), Miss Prism (The Importance of Being Earnest),
Madame Roget (Victor/Victoria), Mrs. Grose (The Turn of the Screw) and the Her Majesty the Queen (Handbagged).
Alex T Hornby has been an active amateur actor for over 45 years having been bitten by the stage bug at age 4 playing 'Field Mouse No. 1' in Toad of
Toad Hall and has been in everything from Bennett to Beckett to Brecht. With the Spread Eagle Players Alex played the roles of Oscar Madison in
The Odd Couple, a very strange man indeed in Autobahn and Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers. Alex has also directed Rumours, The Innocents and
Come Back to the 5 and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean also for The Spread Eagle Players. This is Alex's first production for the Tower Theatre Company.
Michael Bettell joined the Tower Theatre 5 years ago and has been involved in around 100 Tower productions.

The Pride, Marmion/Son/Technician in Comic Potential and The Reverend Crisparkle in The Mystery of Edwin Drood!; as a
Set Designer - Doctor Faustus, Accolade, Othello, Someone Who'll Watch over Me, King Lear, Travesties, Major Barbara, The Kitchen Sink, After the Dance, Coyote on a
Fence, Two, Dancing at Lughnasa, Dying for it, The Doctor's Dilemma, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Loot, Calendar Girls, David Copperfield, The Trials and
Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, Darker Shores and Terrorism; as an Assistant Director - Damages, and as a Director -
Farragut North and Dumb Show.
Dan Usztan joined the Tower Theatre in 2012 and is an Assistant Artistic
Director. His acting roles for the Tower include Alan in Time and the
Conways, Donald in The Habit of Art, Bobby in Coyote on a Fence, Gerry
in Dancing at Lughnasa and Dennis in Loot, and he directed Road at the
Bridewell Theatre and One Man, Two Guvnors and After The Dance Upstairs at
the Gatehouse. A Literary Agent by day, Dan has also appeared on
Mastermind, 15 to 1, Blockbusters and University Challenge.
Samuel Currie-Smith is appearing in his third role with the Tower Theatre; his first was Leary in Sherlock Holmes
followed by a whole range of parts in Doctor Faustus.
This followed 3 years of intense study into Drama and
Theatre when he was in productions such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Top Girls and The Accidental Death Of An Anarchist.
He has also performed many monologues and a play he co-wrote called Beached.
Michael Mayne's credits include Cornwall in King Lear, Organ in Tartuffe, Julius Caesar, Sidney in Smells of Wee, Shylock in
The Merchant of Venice, Fred in Fred and Madge and Jake in Jake's Women. Michael is a classically trained Actor - a graduate of the
London Academy of Music and Drama Art (LAMDA). He worked in the professional theatre for 20 years before family commitment moved him into the commercial world;
now those commitments are fulfilled he is working his way back into the Business.
Niki Mylonas trained at the late Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and has worked on TV, Film, Video, Stage and Radio. She is an author of non-fiction,
a playwright and producer, abridger/adaptor/editor of Shakespeare plays, director and lead actor at Classical Radio Drama a company she founded in 2012. Most recent stage credits
include: Nurse in Romeo and Juliet which toured to Paris in 2016, Duchess in Doctor Faustus, Lady Macbeth and Third Witch in Macbeth for Classical Radio Drama,
Mrs Shliefke in Her Naked Skin at the Network Theatre, Kate in Brighton Beach Memoirs for BLT, Queen Anne in Brandy with Creative Curve Productions for which she won
best actress award, Verity in the world premiere of She Wears Scented Rose with Razor Sharp Productions, Anfisa in Three Sisters for Vox Humana Theatre Productions at
the Arts Theatre and Josephine in a new version of The House of Bernarda Alba. The Ladykillers is Niki's eleventh project with the Tower Theatre Company.
Usually found in wardrobe, Lynda Twidale has been co-opted
onstage for the first time since she joined the Tower
Theatre in 2010. She is enjoying being part of the
cast, even if it did mean sorting out another costume.
She has worked on wardrobe in over 30 Tower
shows. When not costuming dozens of characters,
Lynda enjoys writing comedy sketches.

Peter Novis has been with the Tower since 1988. Favourite roles include Herman Glogauer in Once in a Lifetime; the Dada in
Entertaining Mr Sloane; several parts in the annual Tower Shakespeare productions in Paris; an Ugly Sister in Cinderella;
and Mr Dick in David Copperfield. He has also directed for the Tower in London, Paris and Cornwall.
Julian Farrance has appeared in seven shows for the Tower Theatre : 5/11, Damages, Loot, The Doctor's Dilemma,
One Man, Two Guvnors, The Return of the Marionettes and Sherlock Holmes. This is his first time directing for the Tower but he has
been involved in numerous productions as actor and director for other companies.
In 2014, his play Shoot the Bugger was Runner Up in the Tower's First World War writing competition.
